The Glamour Addict Holiday Gift Guide: Part 2

Welcome to the second installment of The Glamour Addict Holiday Gift Guide!  You'll see that in my first installment, I posted one of my favorite Christmas commercials.  Well, being that I come from a Catholic father and a Jewish mother, I've gotta honor both sides of the fam!  With that said, take a look at this HILARIOUS video of A Capella group The Maccabeats singing their Hanukkah song "Candlelight," a Weird Al-type version of Taio Cruz's "Dynamite."  Happy Holidays, and Happy Shopping!!!

Lulus Kelly Charcoal Grey Arm Warmers - $19
I am DYING over these cozy arm warmers from Lulus.com, and here's why: They are the perfect marriage of function and fashion.  There's no WAY you'll be cold with these puppies; they're 100% cotton, reach up to the elbow, and have ribbing on the ends to hold them in place!  AND, their adorable, cable-knit design just SCREAMS winter coziness.  They allow you to use your fingers for rummaging through your bag or texting, and look STELLAR with a fabulous holiday manicure!

Essie Luxeffects Holiday Line - $34.89 on Amazon.com
Speaking of holiday manicures: OMG!  Essie's new holiday line of sparkly, glittery topcoats is BEYOND.  Each one (there are five of 'em) achieves a different effect due to the multiple sizes of the flakes; some are smaller and give a subtle hint of shimmer, while others are chunkier and make a more dramatic statement.  If you just can't wait until mid-December - when the line hits salons - buy 'em now on Amazon.com!  Who knew there were so many different ways to sparkle?  ;)

West Elm Chalkboard Candlepot - $25
Chalkboard Candlepot, Cucumber CitrusI LOVE West Elm's adorable (and interactive) take on a candle!  It puts a fun new spin on a classic gift.  Available in Cucumber Citrus, Ramsey Apple, or Vanilla Fig, these soy wax candles are great to personalize for all kindsa celebrations!!!

We love you anyway,
Mark Darcy!
I am BEYOND obsessed with this adorable sweater by Madewell!  Love the striped detailing on the sleeve, and REALLY love the fact that it's totally festive for the holidays without being so obvious.  (Think Colin Firth's reindeer sweater in Bridget Jones's Diary.)  Available in red or grey, the red color is pretty popular and tough to get online right now, so either visit your local Madewell store to pick one up, or call the number listed on the "Contact Us" page of their website, where someone is available to assist you 24 hours a day!

Thomas Fuchs Creative Skull Bottle Stopper - $98

Bottle Opener
Pop Rock Diamond Ring Bottle Opener - $12

Shoppin' at ShopKempt!

As most of you know, ShopKempt.com was the first sponsor of The Glamour Addict!  For this, I heart them big time!!!

Well, I just wanted to share another MAJOR reason why I love ShopKempt.  You see, upon browsing around their site (which I often do), I came to realize that if there's something I'm coveting somewhere else that's a little out of my price range, ShopKempt almost always has a less expensive (and often better!) version.  Case in point below!

I've been looking for a new "everyday" bag.  I love the one from Coach, but the price is a bit too high for me right now.  Check out its adorable look-alike from ShopKempt!

I'm LOVING that leopard print is so big this seez!  If you're thinking about investing in a leopard piece, NOTHING is more timeless than a leopard print coat...you'll look chic in it season after season!  Although it looks totally sophisticated worn over a dress, my favorite way to wear a leopard coat is with jeans for a little bit of "edgy glam."  From Jackie O. to Kate M., glamorous icons have always been SPOTTED  ;)  in leopard, so take a cue from these gawjus gals and check out some of the BEYOND glamorous coats (and their less expensive look-alikes) below!

Glamour Friday: Inspirational Icons

Welcome to Glamour Friday, everyone!  Every Friday, as you know, I share a glamorous tip from someone who inspires me.  Well today, I thought I'd talk about some of the style icons - both past and present - who inspire me every time I see their pictures!  Whether they've mastered a specific style (Nicole Richie) or they've mastered the art of confidence (Alexa Chung), one thing's for sure: These women are ALL glamorous!

Sophia Loren
Love the On-Trend,
Ladylike Bow!

I mean, it just doesn't get sexier than Sophia Loren!  BOMBSHELL.  Love her adorable top in the pic at the left.  Polka dots are DEFINITELY making a comeback this seez.  Check out this sweet little number from ModCloth.com for a modern spin on this classic look!

Katharine
Free Peeps!
Katharine Hepburn was my kinda woman!  She was the first leading lady to rock the tailored menswear look, but she ALWAYS kept it feminine.  Such a pioneer.  LOVE HER!  Take a peek at
Free People's version of her sequined button down.  SO cool!

GAWJUS!
Coach
I'm OBSESSED with Nicole Richie's style.  She takes boho chic to the next level for sure.  Check out her adorable, 50's-inspired look at the left.  Love how she keeps it modern with a crisp, white shirt and subtle cat eye.  You can achieve this look by picking up a similar scarf at Coach.  They come in so many fun patterns, AND, they're double-sided!

Oh, Alexa!
Piperlime's
Faux Leather
Jacket
Alexa Chung is just the COOLEST cat there is!  Not only does she have a gift for putting together awesome outfits; she carries herself with such confidence that she could even make a nightgown look amazing!  Visit Piperlime.com and take a peek at the Lucca Couture Faux Leather Jacket to rock a similar version of Alexa's style.  Timeless!

So Pretty!
Comes in
Assorted Colors!

I don't think I've EVER seen Olivia Palermo in a bad outfit.  She just never has an off day!  She is GORGEOUS and I LOVE the scarf she's rockin' in this pic.  Perfect for the Fall.  Check out Rachel Zoe's Faux Fur Pull Through Scarf here and stay nice n' toasty (n' stylish!) this winter!

Have a glamorous weekend xo!
