Aaron...So Stylish, Right?!

Welcome to Glamour Friday, everyone!  Today, I am SO EXCITED that you'll get to meet one of the most glamorous peeps I know - my dear friend, Aaron!  This guy is a class act; he has a heart of gold, is compassionate and caring, loves his friends, and has all kindsa cool style ideas - one of which you'll see today!

When Aaron decided to redecorate his New York City apartment on the Lower East Side, he couldn't figure out what to do with his bare, white walls.  All he knew was that he didn't want to buy art that was meaningless to him.  After having a good think, he came up with the idea of hiring a professional photographer to take pictures of his neighborhood, which happens to be one of the funkiest and trendiest in all of NYC!

GENIUS!  The first time I saw Aaron's pictures, I was blown away.  Some were big, taking up almost an entire wall.  Some were smaller and hung in clever groupings.  There were pictures of famous bars, restaurants, stores, etc.  But my personal favorites were the pictures that weren't of anything famous at all - like a gorgeous crystal chandelier from an antique store, or this AWESOME picture (shown at the right) of a bike on a side street, wrapped in police tape.


Aaron hit such a home run with this idea!  The best part is, instead of hiring someone, you can make this into a really fun DIY project and take your own pics of whatever inspires you - whether it be your neighborhood, friends, favorite stores, etc. - frame them, and hang them up yourself.  It's so much more meaningful than buying art just so you have something to hang on your walls, ya know?  SUCH a cool concept!


That's Aaron for ya - a total smarty pants and creative in his own cool way.  And his inside totally matches his glamorous outside.  He's so generous with his friendship and love, and he inspires me every day, and I hope he inspired you today, too!
